Chevron Leads the Pack in Support of Prop. 26

Oct. 25, 2010 - Chevron gave $1.25 million late last week to support Prop. 26, making them the largest contributor to the campaign with a total of $3.75 million in contributions. The California Chamber of Commerce, the second largest contributor, has given over $3.5 million, including a $250,000 contribution on Friday. The Prop. 26 opposition received another $300,000 from the No on Prop. 23 committee of the League of Conservation Voters which gave a total of $600,000 last week.

No Movement on Prop. 24 Funding

Oct. 25, 2010 - As of noon Monday, there were no additional contributions on either side of Prop. 24, according to the latest campaign finance data published by the California Secretary of State.

Chevron Tops List of Contributors Opposing Prop. 25

Oct. 25, 2010 - Chevron gave $1.25 million late last week to oppose Prop. 25, making them the largest contributor to the campaign with a total of $3.75 million in contributions. The California Chamber of Commerce, the second largest contributor, has given almost $3.1 million, including a $250,000 contribution on Friday. Total contributions to oppose Prop. 25 have reached $15.6 million, while contributions from supporters, primarily unions, are at almost $11.2 million.

PG&E Adds $250,000, John Doerr Adds $100,000 to Oppose Prop. 23

Oct. 25, 2010 - Pacific Gas & Electric Company contributed an additional $250,000 in opposition to Prop. 23 late last week, bringing their total contributions to $500,000. Venture capitalist John Doerr also gave $100,000 in opposition on Friday. He and his wife Ann Doerr have given a total of $2.1 million to the campaign. In total, the opposition to Prop. 23 has now raised over $30.5 million while supporters have raised almost $10.7 million.

AFSCME's Latest Contribution Puts Them in the Top Ten Donors Opposing Prop 26

Oct. 22, 2010 - American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, American Federation of Teachers, National Education Assocation and the Service Employees International Union each contributed $75,000.00 late on Friday.
