MEDIA ALERT: Voting and Campaign Finance Data for Calderon, Yee and Wright
April 7, 2014— Legislator pages for suspended California state legislators Leland Yee, Ron Calderon, and Rod Wright are available at MapLight, a nonpartisan research organization that tracks the influence of money in politics.
As of April 5 at 7:00 PM, the website pages of Yee, Calderon and Wright were removed from the California State Senate website.
MapLight legislator pages show voting and campaign finance data including: campaign contributions by top industry, company and geographical origin. The 'money near votes' tab shows each legislator's individual votes on selected bills and whether key interest groups supported or opposed that bill.

Methodology: Top ten industry and company contribution data, and money near votes data includes reported contribution and voting data from January 1, 2009 - Dec 31, 2012. Geographic origin of contributions includes reported contributions from Jan. 1, 2007 through Mar. 17, 2010. Ranking is across Assemblymembers and state Senators in office as of Aug. 31, 2009. Contributions from political parties and from other candidates are not included. Data sources: National Institute on Money in State Politics; LegInfo.ca.gov
