Victim Protection by Ryan Birss, Aug 7, 2008 (8:33pm)

This bill aims to help protect victim’s of domestic violence. The one aspect of the bill that may potentially become controversial is the implementation of gun confiscation policies. If this bill starts making its way on to the calander, I’m sure women’s groups and gun groups will become very interested on the outcome. However, I feel that a victim’s right to be safe outweights one’s right to have a gun.
