Bill to Amend the Compact of Free Association by Tiffany Hsieh, Mar 14, 2008 (6:12am)

This bill amends the Compact of Free Association, which gave sovereignty to the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Federated States of Micronesia while solidifying the special political, economic and security relationship between the United States and the two islands. The amendments include provisions concerning disaster relief and education for those in the aforementioned islands.
