A weaker (and slower) version of HR 1108 by Peter Volberding, Jun 8, 2008 (11:30pm)

The Senate version has taken a backseat to the legislation currently going through the House. In fact, nearly all of the debates, hearings, and amendments have changed only the House version. Therefore, while this bill has been spared much of the controversy and negative media attention, it has also fallen by the wayside on the agenda. Thus, if an anti-smoking act does pass, it will likely come from the House.
