Constantino Brumidi by Milan Sundaresan, Jun 19, 2008 (4:42pm)

Best known and honored for his fresco work in the Capitol Building, Constantino Brumidi was Italian/Greek-American. He is also noted for the now labeled Brumidi Corridors- the hallways in the Senate side of the Capitol. Consequently his statue on display in the Capitol Visitor Center would provide tourists with a historical reference of the paintings within.
