educator-student sexual misconduct by Anna Costello-Dougherty, Jul 23, 2008 (4:55am)

This bill would create a national database of details state have reported regarding acts of sexual misconduct by educators against students in which the teacher was punished. These details include what punishment was levied and details about the educator.

Each state will create a commission to establish policies for investigating and reporting allegation. Other educators who are aware of the sexual misconduct will also face discipline if they do not report their belief that another educator has committed an act of sexual misconduct against a student.
