Federal Funding for Welfare Agencies Funding by Ryan Birss, Aug 18, 2008 (9:14pm)

Traditionally, states have funded their child welfare agencies. This bill will increase federal funds for short term training of staff. It is important for welfare agencies to have a quality and well trained staff. This bill will help pay for training so agencies will be able to offer better services to children.
