Encouraging the hiring of Veterans by Ryan Birss, Aug 18, 2008 (11:13pm)

This bill will allow a tax credit against income tax for hiring veterans. The tax credit will encourage the hiring of Veterans and make it easier for them to find jobs after they complete their service. It is important for Veterans to have job opportunities so they can assimilate back into society. The bill will also help businesses because they will be able to pay less taxes. They will have more income to reinvest and expand.
