Addressing Contractor Accountability by Tiffany Hsieh, Mar 21, 2008 (3:30pm)

This bill was introduced with two other related bills, HR 4881 and HR 3033 which try to address the lack of accountablity of government contractors. In hearing of the Oversight and Government Reform Committee earlier in 2007, a top executive from Blackwater Worldwide refused to disclose his salary from his wartime contract. The bill’s aim for transparency in these deals is a notable cause.
