DNA Backlog Program by Ryan Birss, Jul 9, 2008 (12:48am)

This bill will help the judicial system become fairer. The bill aims to continue funding for the Debbie Smith DNA Backlog Grant Program. The program aims to process the many DNA samples that there doesn’t seem to be enough time for. The DNA evidence can bring rapists to justice, as well as help free wrongfully convicted prisoners. The bill seems like a win-win for anyone who believes in justice.
