Congress updates existing identity theft law by Lechuan Zhou, Mar 5, 2008 (2:06pm)
This bill allows identity theft victims to seek restitution for the loss of time and money, eases prosecution requirements for identity theft, and expand existing jurisdiction of federal computer frauds. Supporters applaud Congress for updating existing laws to keep up with modern identity theft.
