SA 1101. Ms. LANDRIEU submitted an amendment intended to be proposed to amendment SA 1065 proposed by Mrs. Boxer (for herself, Mr. Inhofe, Mr. Baucus, and Mr. Isakson) to the bill H.R. 1495, to provide for the conservation and development of water and related resources, to authorize the Secretary of the Army to construct various projects for improvements to rivers and harbors of the United States, and for other purposes; which was ordered to lie on the table;
as follows:

At the appropriate place in title V, insert the following:
SEC. 5__X. INNER HARBOR NAVIGATION CANAL LOCK PROJECT.
Not later than July 1, 2008, the Secretary shall--
(1) issue a final environmental impact statement relating to the Inner Harbor Navigation Canal Lock project; and
(2) develop and maintain a transportation mitigation program relating to that project in coordination with--
(A) St. Bernard Parish;
(B) Orleans Parish;
(C) the Old Arabi Neighborhood Association; and
(D) other interested parties.
