SA 3440. Ms. CANTWELL (for herself, Mr. WYDEN, and Mrs. MURRAY) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by her to the bill H.R. 3336, to amend title 10, United States Code, to lift restrictions on the availability of certain enlistment, reenlistment, and student loan benefits for military technicians, when membership in a reserve component is a condition of the military technician's employment and to repeal the prohibition in title 32, United States Code, against overtime
pay for National Guard technicians; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

On page 268, between lines 11 and 12, insert the following:
SEC. __X. APPLICATION OF GRANTS FOR SPECIFIED ENERGY PROPERTY TO CERTAIN REGULATED COMPANIES.
(a) In General.--The first sentence of section 1603(f) of division B of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 is amended by inserting "(other than subsection (d)(2) thereof)" after "section 50 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986".
(b) Effective Date.--The amendment made by this section shall take effect as if included in section 1603 of division B the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.
