Mr. NELSON of Florida (for himself, Mr. REID, Mr. MARTINEZ, Mr. AKAKA and Mr. ENSIGN) submitted an amendment intended to be proposed by him to the bill S. 1023, to establish a non-profit corporation to communicate United States entry policies and otherwise promote leisure, business, and scholarly travel to the United States; which was ordered to lie on the table; as follows:

SEC. X. LIMITATION ON CERTAIN TRAVEL AND CONFERENCES POLICIES.
No agency or department of the United States may establish a travel or conference policy that takes into account the perception of a location as a resort or vacation destination in determining the location for an event.
