See which interest groups and organizations have given the most money to a legislator's campaigns.
- The Top Interests column lists the industry groups--like banks or oil companies--that have contributed the most money to a given legislator.
- The Top Organizations column lists the organizations--like Wells Fargo or Chevron--that have contributed the most money to that legislator. The organizations category includes companies, unions, and political action committees that have contributed the most money to the legislator. Contributions from individuals are grouped according to their employers. For example, the contribution total for Morgan Stanley includes contributions from people who listed Morgan Stanley as their employer on their contribution forms. (Organization names shown such as Attorney are not really organizations; they show totals of contributions from contributors who listed their employer as Attorney on their donation forms.)
- Some legislator pages also display the geographic sources of their contributions.
