One Year Out from November 2016, California State-Level Candidates and Ballot Measures Have Raised Over $43M

November 9, 2015 -- As a number of local elections unfolded last week, money continued to flow to the state-level candidates and measures that will appear on California’s 2016 and future ballots. One year out from November 2016, California state-level candidates and ballot measures have raised $43.6 million since the beginning of the 2015-2016 election cycle.

  • Candidates for state-level office in California have raised $35.5 million between January 1, 2015 and November 5, 2015. State-level candidates include those running for the California Senate, Assembly, Governor, and other statewide offices. The top 5 candidate-controlled campaign committees that have raised the most money for upcoming elections are:
