Nov. 10, 2011 - On Thursday, the U.S. Senate voted along party lines (46-52) to block S.J.Res. 6, a joint resolution disapproving the rule submitted by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) with respect to regulating the Internet and broadband industry practices. The FCC's net neutrality rule was adopted in December 2010.
